Notice of New Sewer Service Charges:
At a public hearing held on June 15, 2022, the Cupertino Sanitary District Board approved Ordinance No. 129, An Ordinance of the Cupertino Sanitary District Amending Sections 7301, 7302 and 7303 of Chapter VII of the Cupertino Sanitary District Operations Code Relating to Sewer Service Charges. These charges are paid by residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial users of the sanitary sewer system. At the hearing, staff proposed a residential rate increase not to exceed 5% for FY 2022-2023. Non-residential customer rates will increase proportionately.
The new rates take effect on July 1, 2022.

Notice of Public Hearing on Sewer Service Charges:
On June 1 & 15, 2022, at 7:00 PM, the Cupertino Sanitary District Board is scheduled to conduct a teleconference public hearing on proposed increases to the Sewer Service and Use Charges in accordance with Executive Order N-33-20 (Call-In Number: 1-866-899-4679 Access Code: 251566821). These charges are paid by residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial users of the sanitary sewer system. At the hearing, staff will be proposing a residential rate increase not to exceed 5% for FY 2022-2023. Non-residential customer rates will increase proportionately.
Protests must be in writing and received by the District prior to the close of the public hearing on June 1, 2022. Indicate the Assessor’s Parcel Number(s) of the property(ies) you own that are subject to the proposed rate adjustment. Newly Appointed Board Member:
Cupertino Sanitary District welcomes newly appointed Board Member, David A. Doyle. Director Doyle's term runs from March 2, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
Notice of Board Vacancy:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy exists on the Sanitary Board of the Cupertino Sanitary District. The term will run to December 31, 2022.
Pursuant to law, the remaining members intend to conduct a brief interview and may appoint a person to fill the vacancy on the Board at a future meeting (date to be determined).
Residents of the District interested in being considered for appointment to the office should file an application with the District, setting forth their name, address, expression of intent in being appointed to the position, relevant personal and professional background and qualifications for the position.
